Meet Maria Attia, DDS

A native Houstonian, Dr. Maria Attia discovered her passion for dentistry through a desire to combine science, artistry, and compassionate care. Her interest started while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Houston, when she shadowed her childhood dentist. Witnessing firsthand how dentistry restores people's confidence and alleviates pain, she set her heart on the field and attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry to pursue her passion of becoming a dentist.

As a general dentist, she takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles by offering personalized treatment plans and fostering genuine relationships. Dr. Attia continuously expands her knowledge by staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques. She enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, ensuring each visit is comfortable, informative, and focused on long-term oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. Attia loves reading and finding great coffee shops in Houston. She believes that a great smile starts with trust and open communication, and she looks forward to serving you at AK Dentistry!
